Budget
What this module is for
Budget is Yuvomi's finance area for tracking how money moves through the household. It covers regular spending, recurring charges, shared costs, accounts, loans and monthly planning, so families can keep both the day-to-day picture and the bigger financial trend in view.
What people usually do here
- Record income and expenses, either manually or through recurring templates.
- Review subscriptions, renewals and planned monthly budgets by category.
- Track account balances, running totals and net worth.
- Attach receipts and split shared costs when several people are involved.
How it connects to other modules
- Documents can store receipts and supporting files that are linked back to transactions.
- Inventory can be created from a purchase and keep the financial record tied to the owned item.
- API Tokens matter when a household later connects importers or automations to the budget.
Good to know
- Split expenses are part of the budget flow rather than a separate module, so household and shared-event costs stay near the core finance history.
- Recurring entries can run in many rhythms and can be confirmed at booking time if the exact date or amount varies.
- A personal budget mode lets entries stay private or be shared with the wider household view.
- CSV export is available when a family wants to audit or archive the data outside Yuvomi.
