Calendar
What this module is for
Calendar is the shared schedule for appointments, deadlines and time-based planning across the household. It is designed to bring external calendars together instead of forcing the family into a single isolated calendar silo.
What people usually do here
- Connect Google or CalDAV calendars and keep Yuvomi in two-way sync with them.
- Create local events, recurring series and one-off exceptions in the same calm interface.
- Subscribe to ICS feeds for schools, clubs, sports or public holidays.
- Search and filter the schedule when several people and calendars overlap.
How it connects to other modules
- Family gives events visible member assignment and avatar context.
- Birthdays can generate automatic calendar events from birthday data.
- Reminders extends calendar reminders beyond the in-app view.
- The dashboard can show today's upcoming appointments together with tasks and meals.
Good to know
- Event visibility is per item, so private appointments can stay private while shared events remain visible to everyone who needs them.
- Recurring events support the practical edit scopes people expect: this event, this and following, or the whole series.
- Yuvomi can import an ICS file or feed once into editable local events when a permanent subscription is not the right fit.
- A read-only webcal export is available for households that need a simple outward-facing feed.
