Shopping

What this module is for

Shopping is the live shared grocery list for the household. It is designed for the real moment in the store, where speed matters, screens are small and a list has to reflect how you actually walk through the aisles.

What people usually do here

  • Add items manually or receive them from the meal plan in one tap.
  • Organize aisles and item order to match the preferred store layout.
  • Check items off quickly while walking through the shop.
  • Keep notes on individual items when size, brand or special instructions matter.

How it connects to other modules

  • Meals exports planned ingredients directly into shopping.
  • Recipes can send their ingredient lists to a shopping list.
  • Pantry can receive completed shopping items back into household stock.

Good to know

  • Both levels of order are yours: aisle order and item order inside each aisle can be rearranged.
  • Swipe gestures exist to keep common mobile actions fast.
  • Shopping and Pantry form a two-way handover: low stock can go out to the list, and bought items can come back in with quantities and units.
  • This module is about collaborative lists first, so it works well even when several family members shop at different times.
